Mr. Riju DA established Furry Fiesta, a well-known nonprofit organization devoted to animal welfare and protection, in Madh-Malad, Mumbai, in 2010. Mr. Riju Dahas has been actively involved in rescue and rehabilitation work since 2008, motivated by a strong commitment to animal welfare. Furry Fiesta’s goal of giving animals in need shelter, medical attention, and protection has expanded dramatically over time.

Currently, our organization runs an animal hospital in Madh, Mumbai, where we provide critical medical care and rehabilitation services to sick, injured, and abandoned animals. We also oversee a sizable animal sanctuary in the picturesque Raigad district of Maharashtra, in Vitthalvadi village close to Kolad. Rescued animals can recuperate and live securely in this sanctuary’s natural, caring surroundings.

Our sanctuary is home to dogs who were saved from difficult or abusive circumstances. Here, our dedicated staff provides all-encompassing care—including veterinary care, a suitable diet, and a nurturing environment—that allows each animal to thrive. In addition to protecting these animals, Furry Fiesta teaches the public the importance of treating all living things with compassion and kindness.
